"...I thoroughly enjoyed the intro to Paideia. I have had the pleasure of attending several workshops recently and this by far was the most practical approach to a useful classroom tool." (Loren Spencer, Introduction to Paideia Seminar participant, November 2007)

INSTITUTES

Institutes are professional development opportunities that teach educators powerful skills and strategies

  • to engage students in active learning as a lifelong adventure;
  • to lead students and faculty in intellectual, collaborative dialogue; and
  • to improve achievement outcomes for all students across the curriculum.

Institutes are two to five days in length and allow individuals to select an area of Paideia instruction for in-depth study with NPC staff members. Read our Institute menu for assistance with choosing an Institute.
