PHASE II
Ongoing Implementation and the Paideia Coached Project

OBJECTIVES of Paideia Phase II are to:

  • Define intellectual coaching, the Paideia Coached Project, product and performance
  • Develop Paideia 3-column unit plans including seminar/coaching/didactic instruction.

Outcomes: Enhance student motivation through relevant product-oriented course work through consistent participation in Paideia Coached Projects.

 

Here is a TYPICAL CALENDAR for Phase II implementation of the Paideia Program:

FALL-SPRING
Phase II Implementation Training
:
12 hours of training (2 days on-site) for full faculty/staff
Monthly Technical Support (6-8 on-site visits by Paideia training staff)

Annual Paideia Conference:
School selects and sends a team


SUMMER
Paideia Implementation and Leadership Institutes:
Held at University of North Carolina in anticipation of Year Three of whole-school implementation.
