The National Paideia Center

Institutes

Institutes are professional development opportunities that teach educators powerful skills and strategies

• to engage students in active learning as a lifelong adventure;

• to lead students and faculty in intellectual, collaborative dialogue; and

• to improve achievement outcomes for all students across the curriculum.

Institutes are two to five days in length and allow individuals to select an area of Paideia instruction for in-depth study with National Paideia Center staff.
