Classroom Materials to Download
Included in our folders here are lesson plans for Paideia Seminar, we call them Seminar Plans.
Notice the folders are labeled by key ideas and values aligned with k-12 curriculum (language, mathematics, history, art, etc).
These Seminar Plans vary in detail and the text title is given. Most texts are available to download copyright free.
Some plans include multiple preparatory steps while others take little set up time.
Please be sure to read both the specific text version you select and the plan to fully align them before using. We recommend that you print the plan and then rewrite/ type it, using your own words. The entire experience will be more authentic and meaninful that way. Enjoy making local connections during the thoughtful dialogue.
Budget your time well and be careful to take steps necessary to prepare all participants, realizing that some personalization is useful.

I would love to do the seminar on Walden by Thoreau. However, how do I find what excerpt is used in this plan?
I want to start seminars in my clawss this year. Where is the best place to start? What do I need?
I would love to benefit from the resource available with you and recommend it strongly to others also. However all must be cautious and mindful of adapting the guidelines to their individual environment.
