Join us in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on October 25 and 26 to explore the theme “How to Speak, How to Listen.” In this time of cultural divide and violent partisanship, we believe that these skills are now more important than ever.
The theme for our 2018 Conference grew out of the many inquiries we have received regarding how educators can help their students—and themselves—listen better so as to engage in civil dialogue. Of equal importance, these ideas flow directly from the core of the Paideia philosophy.
The National Conference will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center, in the heart of the vibrant downtown area. We are also excited to offer optional site visits to the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (CSLA) and the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences (CSAS) on October 24, two schools that are exemplary models of how the Paideia philosophy transforms students, educators, and schools.
The registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch each day. Lodging is not included, but the NPC has blocks of rooms reserved at hotels near the Convention Center. For more information on accommodations options, click here.
The early bird rate of $550 is in effect until September 1, when the price increases to the full rate of $600. Groups of 5 or more will receive an additional $50 discount when all are registered on the same order.
See you there!
